I picked up a vintage USA made amp just this afternoon, on a whim.
It's a APLPHA 7! Those of you alive in America in the seventies would certainly recognize this bad boy if and when I get a pic of it up. I remember one in my cousin's bed room back in '80 or '81.
Two inputs, volume and tone pots - super cheapo chip board amp. It looks like a teisco checkmate or a musicvox amp from the late 60' early 70. It weighs about 5 pounds and its only 'bout 5 inches deep. This little thing has a really respectable clean sound. Best $3 I have spent in some time.
If anyone knows anything about these amps and when they were made I'd love to know. All it say on it is ALPHA 7 - Solid State _ Made in the USA. I'm not sure but I think this thing could worth 5 times what I paid for it!
