Elka R.M. 110 Amp

Hi everyone,
Just new here, so apologies if this isn't the sort of question I should be asking.
In with a load of other stuff I've just acquired an Elka R.M.110 amp. I can't find anything about it on the net and was wondering if this is a decent make?
Not being a guitarist myself I was going to give it to and axe wielding friend of mine, but don't want to insult him and/or have him laugh in my face.
Any knowledge anyone?
