Do any of you sliders out there incorporate standard pentatonic box scales into the mix or do you feel like you may as well play it standard if you do.
Personally, the more I have for my small arsenal the better. Mix em both together...

I don't use standard tuning for slide. If you do, use anything non-slide that works in standard tuning.

I'm talking about incorporating standing tuning notes from the pentatonic box patterns into tunings....D, G....whatever tuning.
I do use standard for slide as well.
