I apologize if the connection isn't obvious enough or maybe it's too obvious . I guess I've stopped this thread for too long . I will divulge the answer in a couple hours time if I don't hear the correct reply .

They all dropped out of school to pursue their musical careers?

The connection I was loking for was that they all play bass and are also the lead singer .

Here is a more obvious one :

Patrick Swayze
John Travolta
Richard Harris

Well, they did all leave school to pursue music ... and Cream didn't have a "lead" singer, Clapton and Bruce both sang .. but I digress :)

They wouldn't all happen to be scientologists, would they?

Well , then they had two lead singers . It doesn't change the fact that Jack Bruce sang lead and played the bass . If you would like to go through and count the number of songs that each sang lead on , be my guest .

I don't know if that is true or not but it's not the connection I was looking for . They are all actors who had a hit record .

"She's like the wind " by Patrick Swayze
"Let her in " by John Travolta
"MacArthur Park " by Richard Harris

OK , I'm done with this thread . I'm sorry I stalled it with my posting .

Okay, I checked and I don't think Richard Harris was a scientologist --it was a wild guess on my part because the other two were.

I'll try posting a question though because it looks like Diceman's passing.
