questions about chords

if there are some instruments and we played a a root note on the first instrument say its guitar and play a 3rd note of the scale on a second instrument and fifth note of the scale on other and so on > is that form a chord

and if there are vocals then it form chords with the music
or
any number of instrumental play at the same time so do that form a chord

and if there is harmony then there are chords

i dont know how i get this thoughts and questions but ok this my question

Yeah I believe so, they have to be played at the same time so they are harmonic intervals instead of melodic ones, cause if they hit them one after another I would guess they are doing an arpeggio, but if they do them at the same time then its a chord I guess.

I dont think you can make chords with the voice, but you can play notes with your voice.

Not necesarily, you could have an interval and thats technically not a chord, ^^.

Yes, chords are formed by ensembles of all kinds. That's how counterpoint and harmony evolved - from choirs originally.

When you think about it, that's really what a guitar is: a choir of individual strings.

Not quite. Two voices would make an interval. Three or more would make a chord. This is why the name "powerchord" is a misnomer- a powerchord is I-V and, therefore, not a chord at all, but an interval.
