What's the correct order for pedals?

Post by Dantep428 » July 5th, 2017, 6:51 pm

Hey everyone, I got a lot of pedals but now I need to actually put them in a "right" order. Here's what I've got

Guitar: Boss Auto Wah, Electro Harmonix Cathedral Reverb, Supa-Trem 2, and Acme Motown D.I. WB-3

Bass: Electro Harmonix Microsynth, Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi, Bodd Chorus, and Acme Motown D.I. WB-3

Any help or general tips would be great, thanks!

This was covered in total Guitar Magazine recently.

Put the Wah first and distortion last in the chain. Then experiment with the others - for example, do you want a chorus effect on the flanged sound, or do you want to flange the chorused sound? See which sounds better.
