I like finding new blues guitarist who really move me. Some like Kenny Wayne Shepard and others talk about Johnny Lang. Let's see if we can introduce some new guys or gals here in this post.

he's not young, but the guy that ran the open mic in des moines blues on grand before it shut down might have been the best blues and blues rock guitar player i've ever seen.
also, derek trucks sort of goes without saying.

There's a couple of friends that have just released albums here in Richmond. Some of them not so young. Tasty Stuff though.

He's got the voice, skills and talent! I hope he makes it far in the industry but sadly the masses are more subjet to marketing than actual music.

Check out Kris Lager, dude's got CHOPS. Lil' Slim is a boss, too. Both are more or less local guys who travel a lot.
