Does this pedal exist?

Postby BradtheImpaler » March 3rd, 2011, 7:49 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm searching for a guitar effect and I'm not sure it's real. In the 1980's New England Digital created the Synthclavier. A synthesizer with the capabilities of Mono Sampling. It can take a recorded sound (like a cough or sneeze) store that sound in the databank and reproduce it with the touch of a key (the pitch of the sound changes relative to the pitch of the instrument). I am looking for a guitar effect which will do the same thing. Record a sound effect, and play it back when I play guitar, matching the pitch to the pitch I am creating.

Is this even possible?

Has anyone done it?

I have no idea where else to look. Help me Guitar Noise Forum. You're my only hope.

Playing guitar and never playing for others is like studying medicine and never working in a clinic.
