The New Olympics - World Premiere Performance

Postby Alan Green » June 3rd, 2012, 9:52 am

Time for a quick plug.

Tuesday, 5th June, at Braintree Leisure Centre, Essex, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will give the world premiere performance of "The New Olympics", a five-movement work written by the young people of Braintree and arranged by Tim Steiner of the RPO. Kick off around 6:30, although I have to be there a lot earlier.

And I'm in the orchestra for this performance leading a group of 7 young guitarists. Can't wait.

Sounds fantastic!

It went great. A seriously good show tonight, a capacity crowd of 440 and a standing ovation.
