30+ years of pickin', but new to the forum

Post by amakely » January 25th, 2013, 7:54 pm

Hi, everyone. I'm Andy.

I've played guitar for a while now, and I love to talk about guitar. Over the years, I went through quite a few phases along the way being fascinated with:

Van Halen, Dokken, Stanley Jordan, Al Di Meola, Jeff Beck, Michael Hedges, Stevie Ray, Sonny Landreth.
Guitar synths, lots of pedals, Marshall Stack, Roland Jazz Chorus, only one pedal, Peavey Classics.
Budget guitars, Steinberger, Godin, Stratocaster, Hollowbodies, Resonators (want!).

I look forward to hanging out, talking shop and learning about great new players I should be tuned into.

If you're interested in Stevie Ray Vaughan, here's an awesome guitar lesson on YouTube! .
