They've redirected the link already! The new server seems slow, but that could be the pipe at work...

I've also found my house, on the satellite pic - can I move the golf tee to point to it?
Yes, how close can you get? I didn't see how to enter a street address, or click and add the location. If I used my zip code, the pointer would be up to 5 miles away. Which is close enough...

I'll delete the images.

To get really close, use the hybrid satellite map, get down as close as you can to your address and then add yourself.

You can't enter a street address, I live in a relatively small town, with some very distinctive features, near the house, so It's easy to find. How difficult can it be when you have an international airport, the Isar river and the local outdoor swimming pool for neighbours? :)
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

It looks like mine has just centered the flag in the middle of my zip code. I live a fair bit north of where it is showing. Like Geoo though, I don't mind since I get a bit paranoid about things like that as well.

It is neat seeing the general area where everyone lives though. Cool stuff.

Can't zoom in closer than Space Shuttle altitude on mine. If folks could zoom in and see me pickin' on the porch, it might scare 'em off.

I had the same problem then realized my flag is about 3 miles away. I drove down there but it wasn't there. Not a big deal since I stopped and got a cup of coffee on the way back.

My flag is like 3 blocks from where I live. It's pointing to the post office as far as I can tell.

Since I'm the closest to you geoo, I'd come steal your amps and guitars, but with gas prices it'd probably be cheaper to buy them than to drive the 5 hours out to snag them, then 5 hours back.
Our songs also have the standard pop format: Verse, chorus, verse, chorus, solo, bad solo. All in all, I think we sound like The Knack and the Bay City Rollers being molested by Black Flag and Black Sabbath.

Hey, I can see myself waving out my back window! Nah, I can't zoom in as far as most of you. Can get as low as orbiting the earth distance. My flag is pointing to the middle of the Rock river 3 miles west of me down by were I work. I spend too much time down there, maybe that's why.

It's a little confused about me. It shows me in two places, neither of which is quite right. But it did get the general quadrant of town right.
