screaming, strained vocals?

Think you can't sing? Think again. Can you hum or sing the pitches as you tune your guitar? Can you sing along with your car radio? You can? Great! Now we know you can sing. It's good to get that out of the way. Come on in and wail away.

screaming, strained vocals?

Post by Derek Wilkerson » July 31st, 2012, 9:16 pm

anybody interested in any lessons on this? i can do a few and id be glad to put some videos up to help some metalheads get on their feet with it. still technically a type of singing.. (hey if inuit throat singing is considered musical so is screaming).

my main tool is inward screams (not pig squeals, the annoying misconception). my outwards have been known to sound like chad from mudvayne.. etc etc

any takers? could be taken as free entertainment i guess as it is quite hilarious to watch if you're not a metalhead in the first place.. lol

I would definitely like to watch this. I think these kind of instructional videos can go viral very quickly and it would be an excellent idea. Consider yourself to have 1 viewer at least!
