What are some of the popular songs over the years that use alternate tuning and which is used.
Im getting into this tuning stuff and having fun finding new songs using diffrent tunings.

open G low to high D G D G B D
then do a search. you will find many songs for the Rolling Stones.

A lot of Joni Mitchell tunes use "joni" tunings (she used a bunch of alternate tunings!)
Check out the old acoustic blues (a lot are done in Drop D or Drop E)
