SWAP MY 1977 FENDER STRAT FOR GIBSON LES PAUL

Post by funkymonk1985 » December 28th, 2006, 3:47 pm

Hello all!

I've just joined this forum and im pretty excited as there seems to be a lot of good information and buzz going on here!

Anyway, the reason I looked for a website like this is because i have an Original 1977 American Fender Stratocaster that I would like to swap for a Gibson les Paul standard - preferably and older model - perhaps late 80s but I really would like to here from anyone who has a Gibson Les Paul Standard in Tobacco Burst (or similar). Faded tobacco burst would be even greater!

The serial number of my Strat is S778009
Its is a natural finish with a black scratchplate and black voume/tone controls
Maple neck and maple fingerboard
It has all original parts and orginal black leather-lined fender case
i also have a fender strap with it and high quality lok buttons for the strap

i may even throw in a boss BF-3 flanger pedal (all boxed etc) - seeing as i have switched to using a mxr phase 90 as my resonant effect

In excellent condition - was given to me by a family friend and he was the only owner - he apparently became "too old" to play guitar! I HOPE I NEVER GET TO THAT AGE!

Anyways, please let me know what you have to offer and thanks for reading this, my first post! :D

Welcome to Guitar Noise.

You are making me drool without pictures. How is that possible? :D

You should post some pictures and maybe think about selling it as well as trying to trade.

You never know when that LP may come out of nowhere and smack you right in the finger tips.
