Autumn Jam - Now Started

Ain't know thang!

I've only begun to get to tempo myself. This took much more thought as to tone, what to play and how to play than most of the other ones I've been involved with. It's quite a challenge for me. I could have something by Monday, but another week will be so much more comfy.

Looks like we're blowing through a couple of deadlines here.... which is just fine with me. I still haven't put anything on tape for this yet.... Holidays coming up too, but I won't have much free time during them unfortunately. Just wondering where everyone else is with this one. If everyone is close, then I will make some time for it.

I'm pretty close. I had a med change that I'm getting used to and hope to be back on it this week. I think I've got a couple spots that need replacement. I should be done this week.

It's a tricky little backing track. I kept it mostly simple, which was still tricky. Not an easy one, for sure. I practiced the basic melody to the song's bpm and eventually got something.

OK. Holidays busy. I can dig, especially if one works any sort of retail or have big families and such. Is 1/3/2011 too soon? If it is, than there's 1/10.

I'm finding this a tough one and this week is pretty much a write off with holiday related stuff.

Yeah I hear ya. I'll shoot for 1/3, but 1/10 might be better. We can see where we're at on 1/3. Like I said in an earlier post, I have a general outline of what I'm doing on it... just have to sit down and *do it*.

Slowly but surely, I'm making a little area in my basement/dungeon for my guitar practicing, and have already started playing a little down there. A little bit more effort and I will have some space and more importantly, some peace and quiet, to really focus in on this. It is my number one house project right now, much to my wife's chagrin.

I'm so far behind, I'm not sure when I can put something together.

Most definitely it won't be until after the first of the year.
