Southern Rock Jam

Post by smokindog » May 26th, 2005, 7:05 pm

This one is in Am Am,F,C, G, Dm, F.
seven parts as follows

1, beg-50
2, 50-133
3, 133-215
4, 215-258
5, 258-340
6, 340-423
7, 423-end

I would like three players taking 2 parts and one player taking the last part

parts 1&3--
parts 2&4-smokindog
parts 4& 6-
part 7-

create a theme with your first part and with your second part play a variation of that theme, I'm starting to sound like Bob in the sunday songwriters forum :-)

You can download the BT from http://www.soundclick.com/dogscratch

Happy Jamin Ya'll--the dog

I'll take 1 and 3, though I am not sure if I am qualified for the whole southern rock thing. I'll do my best -- cop some licks from somewhere...

OK alex, you got 1&3 :D . Southern rock is really just the blues played faster  8) A good example for this kind of jam is a song called " highway song" by Black Foot, there is a long guitar jam in that song that is close to this one we are doing. Thanks for helping out, --the dog

got any more slots open? I'll rock this. I feel guilty that I dislike most country since I'm from Georgia originally, so maybe this will grant me immunity from being called a "prog metalhead nerd" when i go down there to visit friends.
