Open Jam for May

Post by Shift » May 18th, 2005, 8:31 pm

with last two jams done, I guess it is time for a new one.

So I made a backing track.

There are 4 spots. I'll take one of them.

1: 0-40 (0pen)
2. 40-1:18 (Open)
3. 1:18-1:57 (Open)
4: 1:57-2:35(Open)

That's a great groove. I'd like to give it a go but I think if someone new wants in that'd good. So, you can put me on the sidelines i guess if no one else shows up.

I wouldn't mind a part, but I'd like to give someone new a try also. Maybe if there is enough interest can do 2 mixes
Immature? Of course I'm immature Einstein, I'm 50 and in a Rock and ROll band.

I'd like to get in on this, third spot would be good.

I may not have much time to record in the next couple days, so if someone else wants to join in and I'm too slow for you, just bump me.

Noah, yep I made this track yesterday. 'Tis a homebrewed Shift special. Glad you like it.

Ok Cool, so far we got 3.

1. 0-40 (0pen)
2. 40-1:18 (Shift)
3. 1:18-1:57 (shadychar)
4. 1:57-2:35 (nroberts)

Just need one more, to fill the 1st spot.

If you guys want to do 2 mixes, that is cool with me 8) I'll be happy to do a second mix on the tune. Just a warning, I've never mixed tracks from other players before, but hey it's all in good fun.

Oh, you can email your tracks to shift53@gmail.com

I'll wait a bit and see if anyone else wants the slot. I don't want new people to think this is a private party

MRJazzClassicalMetalShred, the 1st slot is still open in this jam. So you take that, if you want it.

In case you guys were wondering about the progress of this.

I recorded my part on Sunday.

Haven't gotten anyone elses part, yet.

That is because I have been being lazy and am absorbed by a book (Revenge of the Sith).

I've been working on it today, but I'm having a tough time coming up with ideas.
