guitarbt.com question

Post by Mike » April 14th, 2005, 3:15 pm

I use Cakewalk Sonar 4 and I am having a problem opening the backing tracks.

Do I have to convert them to MP3 or something else? If so, how do you guys/gals do it?

Thanks,

Mike

They usually are mp3 files. Chances are you need to translate them to wav. I don't know if cakewalk can deal with mp3 import or not.

I knew I was doing something wrong!!! Thanks, nroberts.

I was right-clicking the backing track and trying to open it with Cakewalk when I should have been "importing" the file from Cakewalk.

Everything works!!! At least I know now I can import mp3's and .wav files.

Thanks!
