Sorry, folks, I've been doing 12-14 hours a day trying to get a house renovated by Christmas, so our tenants can move in on Jan 1.

Clue:

The song by the Kingston Trio has at least 3 titles - there is the original title, one, which is a very well known version (coincidentally the title used by the KT) and one, which is complete and utter nonsense, but supposedly a translation of the original title.

2nd clue the original title was in a non-mainstream language (e.g. German, French, etc.)

I don't think that Pat Benatar or John Barry have recorded The Lion Sleeps Tonight, but you're getting warm

The best I seem able to come up with is that they've all done songs with lions in them.
