I've looked at these examples for a long time, and have concerns that it is another notch up in the loudness wars, except we might already have reached our max? I personally don't like clipped, compressed and high volume audio without full range and sound dynamics. Although I admit is more commercially viable and radio friendly (friendly is a deceptive and relative term, meaning commercial, again), but it still blasts us with crappy sound, IMO.
