I've searched and all I seem to be able to find is the synth-y bass plugins. I'm looking for a free vst plug-in so I can do my bass parts w/ MIDI. I know several of you on here use MIDI for bass parts, so what are you using?

Cakewalk studio instruments. It's not free, but it can be had for under $50.00
It includes electric piano, bass guitar, string section and drums. The bass guitar is probably one of the best that I have heard in a long time.

Thanks David, I will check that out, but I have Addictive Drums for my drums and use my keyboard for any piano and string parts, so I really just needed the bass.
