Re: It's the Little Things

Hi Renee,

Gosh, no need to apologize. On first read you simply responded to what you felt at the time. I can easily see your point of view. By my asking the question "what" . . . . . I'm opening up the possibility of there being an different answer than the one I had projected.

Re: It's the Little Things

Well . . .. . I certainly didn't see that coming. I think the chorus is pretty clear that it IS the little things that count . . . . that little things can offset the bad . . . . . . . I guess it's point of view. And your suggestion does clear that up . . . I, obviously, didn't think it was pessimis...

Re: Loving and Living

Hi John,

Thanks for the listen and suggestions. More often than not, my songs are usually in a much slower tempo. I tried this one slower . . . . . not quite sure . . . . . seems to me this song needs energy! Appreciate your input.

Re: Funny / Not Funny

Hi John, Funny is Fun. I wouldn't worry about using a tragic event as a starting point. You're not making light of it . . . . . you're simply giving it a different viewpoint. It's a way of dealing with it . . . . . sorta like an "alternative" universe. Yes . . . . I said the word "alternative." I ha...

Hi Renee,

Very interesting and well written lyrics. Simplicity with deep meaning. Particularly liked the verse with binary world. And your theme of I meant no disrespect works very well pulling all your verses together.
Well done!

Re: Year 14 Weeks 15 & 16 Anywhere (You Want To Be)

Hi John, Really enjoyed this. I did have a thought . . . . . in your chorus you use terms we're very familiar with . . . . lonesome road . . . . seven seas . . . . . ring of fire. And, honestly, they work just great here. Wonder if it might be a fun exercise to replace them with some new and less fa...
