Re: 3 Pickup Guitar, Rythm switch not working

plug your guitar into your amp. Turn the volume way low on the amp and all the way up on all the knobs on your guitar. then use something metal like a screw driver. Touch the screwdriver to the pickups to determine which one isn't making sound. you should hear a pop when the screw driver touches the...

I recommend mixing up the order so it doesn't feel so stale.

Re: Can anyone help me with learning this song

I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with this notation. Try Ultimate-guitar and just take it slow.

Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. I know that wasn't SUPER helpful, but I promise it's a great place to start.

Re: Identifying wiring problems

With both volume switches up, the middle position responds to the neck and bridge tone pots. With pickup selector in middle, the volume for the neck pickup volume pot does nothing until it hits zero, and then it stops. These two sentences are confusing. How do all volume and tone pots behave when t...

Re: Baja Telecaster Electrics Problem

Dude sorry to ask more questions than provide answers, I fixed guitars for years, and that's just odd. I would start by checking the instrument cable and amp. So I would wait for it to fail, then try other cables, and guitars to see if the problem persists or gets resolved. For example, if you swap ...

Re: Okay I'm a new guitar guitar player

In western music chords consist of a "1, 3, & 5" with the type of "3rd" & "5th" determining sonority (major, minor, or diminished). In words all major minor and diminished chords consist of some kind of 1, 3, & 5 sounding harmonically (at the same time). "Power Chords" or 5 chords (e.g. G5, D5, etc)...

Re: Newbie , Hi all

Talk to a guitar teacher about technique, & talk to a doctor about discomfort.

Even with good technique, you will still experience some discomfort in the first few months. Especially when it comes to learning chords.

Hope this helps!

Re: Truss Rod or Saddle?

That's SO hard to diagnose without holding the guitar in hand... I wish I could be more help, but setting up an instrument is more art than science (IMO).

Hope this helps! Are the strings old? Any adjustments should be made after a restring so the strings are at least straight.
