Hello blues guitar lovers

Hi I'm Rick Hart. My stage name is Honeyboy and I've been playing in bands for over 40 years. For the last 20 years or so I've been playing mostly the blues. I use Stratocasters and Fender amps for the most part. Play slide guitar a bit and like everyone I'm still trying to learn how to do it right....

Re: Question about using the slide on the pinky.

Personally I love using the pinkie for holding the slide. I can use the other fingers to play most chords that way. And even play some fingered leads too. It makes me more versatile in general.

Re: 10 greatest slide guitarists and their preferred tuning(

By the way the only reason I didn't include Derek Trucks is because he and Duane Allman are the same person/spirt/soul. He's Duane reincarnated... that's the only explanation for how he was so good at 12 when I first saw him. :D

Re: 10 greatest slide guitarists and their preferred tuning(

Not sure why he always gets forgotten but Lowell George is definitely in my Top 5...

1. Duane Allman
2. Lowell George
3. Ry Cooder
4. Sonny landreth
5. Bonnie Raitt

Not sure what tuning he used. Anybody know?
