Re: Bass Compressor?

the electro harmonix black finger is outstanding as a compressor. another great compressor is the markbass compressore. both are tube and both are high end. if you want a cheaper one.. the electro harmonix soul preacher is a really good alternative.

Re: Jet City JCA50H Help!!!!!!!

im guessing epiphone probably makes something similar. or some newer fender amps have the same knobs. potentiometers (the things knobs are attached to, control volume, tone, etc) all generally have the same shaft size. there are however different shaft types. if you take a knob off your amp, does it...

Re: Unknown Problem. Need Help

looks like you've got some decent fretwear going on already.. hopefully its not notching yet  if the string height doesnt follow your radius you have one of two problems, the first being more likely. 1. your bridge saddle has notches in it from the guitar being restrung over the years (especia...

Re: Metal, Heavy Rock

this being the guitar part of the forum, im a bit out of place here. as a bassist, ive always liked fingerstyle. its a technique you have to nurture for speed to come out of it, for instance, my workout right now is lamb of god's redneck. i was also a guitar player once upon a time. most of the tric...
