Re: Thumb Over Grip

i know im a bassist so this is only semi relevant... although i have seen mark morton from lamb of god do it. does anyone, while soloing, put their thumb under the fretboard when they solo? i know i do and it helps me out a lot.. probably because the peavey t-40 i play is a bolt neck so theres that ...

anyone in the vintage peavey camp?

i may be one of the few that has a white t-40, but i cant imagine im the only one with a t-40.. this is my 1981 (only year they came in white, and they make up 0.5% of all t-40's) peavey t-40. this is my metal bass. and at a hefty 14 pounds, it also makes for a good emergency club. . this one...

Re: Floyd Rose won't stay in tune

okay. the way you set up a floyd rose (so long as it isnt a cheapo wanna be one, in which case you may want a tremolo return bar), you want to tune your strings up to tension with the nuts loose. then tighten them to finger tight, take your allen wrench and do about an 1/8th of a turn or a little bi...

bugera 6262 infinium woes..

my guitarist recently got a newer bugera 6262 infinium (the 2x12 combo version) and the thing blew a fuse on us after an hour of playing. ive heard it could be the power tubes (they were tested and they're all over the scale in terms of health). i have no idea what would make an amp blow a fuse afte...

i tried one and quite frankly i think it could have been more transparent.. its buffered bypass, and boss usually does a very good job with buffered bypass but there is a significant tone suck on that pedal.. and fyi, i tried two of them out.
