Re: High School Safety Pin Parade

David,
Thanks for the odeas. Using multiple people might work well if I had the "Web are the World" singers. It's just me and I'm going to have to stretch my voice to sound like a pubescent boy.

High School Safety Pin Parade

Another song writing web site suggested this title "High School Safety Pin Parade" Not knowing about the safety pin thing, I googles it and found out that it is a silent protest against the recent conservatism and racial hatred. I think it is supposed to show solidarity of the diverse peoples potent...

Re: Week? Allergic to Cats

http://www.soundclick.com/html5/v3/player.cfm?type=single&songid=13491330&q=hi&newref=1 I haven't used soundcloud or soundclick for over a year. The links they are creating are for a whole catalog of songs rather thasn individual songs. Any idea how to fix this? My playing is not as good as I like a...

Re: Week? Allergic to Cats

Thanks for checking it out Chefie. Since nothing else is happening here I figured to start posting stuff. I have spent the last hour trying to gather up my long dormant recording equipment. Tomorrow I'll see if I can remember how this stuff works. I did a rough take with a ukulele but I am planning ...

Week? Allergic to Cats

My song writing has been dormant for a year and a half at least while I dealt with multiple hospital visits, heart attacks, and something similar to lyme disease. A few weeks ago I went to a song writing retreat to ty to kick start my brain. Over the last week I decided to write an autobiographical ...

Your example has the IV chord as a "D". It should be "A".

It's a sad story. Alzheimer's is wicked. Glad that you finished a song.

Re: 13/24 Things My Father Taught Me

Thanks Renee. This is another one that will go into the unfinished file. If I get time today, I would rather work on one about the Confederate flag controversy.
My father is long gone and I really don't want to dig up old resentments.

13/24 Things My Father Taught Me

All I have so far is the chorus. Someday I'll sell my companies and have more time for fun but for now, my writing time is very limited. Even while composing this brief snip, I have had to answer 7 phone calls. Never cash your paycheck in a bar Always check the oil in your car Never till the soil in...

Re: Y13W34 - On Father's Day

It certainly seems dark. Good luck on finding he proper music. I assume you are on the trail of a Minor key.
It seems like you are going to the chorus a bit too often. I would think two trips to the chorus bar would give you your fill.
