Look at how you are going to use it.. I don't know either of these amps so I am assuming here ;) Tubes generally sound better at volume, they usually don't have headphone sockets.. (at volume you could upset neighbours, family or room mates) Solid states usually have headphone sockets and a plug for...

Well, it's almost that time. Work's been stoopidly busy and I'm not even remotely prepared for this Sunday's Jam session. :shock: However, they sent out a notice today with a song to learn for the day (Tom Petty "I won't back down"), so I'm going to give that a bash and see what happens on the day....

Alice Cooper is musical theater. There is nothing wrong with someone standing at a mic and singing, and on the other hand, there is nothing wrong with musical theater either. I have a Roland Cube & a Fender Super Champ XD 15w tube amp both fantastic amps..
Both sound good a low volume for noodling in the bedroom..

Fair dinkum I have a $1,000 worth of books most of them looked at once... heaps of YouTube instructional videos, I just seem to accumulate all this "instructional" material but never put it to good use .... argggggggggggggggggggggggggg.....
