Guitar theory

I've now been playing guitar for about three months, and have been enjoying it very much. But i've realized that i don't know much about guitar theory. I would like to start off with scales and chord notes, could anyone suggests some internet sites.

I subscibe to Guitar Player its cool, and comes with lessons. I paid $15 for a year. Plus, they are teamed up with musicnotes.com and every month you get to pick a song to download. So you get your money back in some ways.

Try to to get a couple of DVD instead of books. They seem to be easier to understand.

Oh, and do you push the string all the way down to the fret and pull off quickly like a pulloff, and someone said there were a couple of ways to do it.

O.K. then, you are going to want a guitar with humbuckers, you are also going to want one that is capable of drop tunings. now do you want a hardcore rock guitar or a more all around guitar, and do you want a tremolo arm (A.K.A. whamy bar).
