Chord chart

Hello, Several months ago someone here posted a link to a site that had a great chart with the i, ii ,IV, V etc chords listed for each key. At the time I looked at it and thought that is nice , but was not quite ready for it. Now I have a friend who will say ok, lets play a ii, V, I, VI progression ...

E7(+9)

Thanks! Going to grab my guitar and give it a try. The song I am working on is Strange Brew. Going to play it with some friends on Sunday so I need to get practicing.

Could someone please tell me how I would play an E7 (9+)? I usually use http://www.chordfind , but couldn't find this one. Thank you.

sound hole pick ups

Hi Dylan, I have been extreamly pleased with my B-band blended pick up system. I have not had any trouble with feed back. I did have it installed at a luthier shop as I needed a hole drilled for the endpin portion and wanted to besure it all was placed properly for best performance. The set up is no...

Badd11

Is a Badd11 the same thing as a B11? I got a new songbook and a few of the chords are incredibly difficult to fret. Usually when I can't manage a chord as listed in the chord block I look up an alternate on the chord find computer site. Thanks.

Naming Guitars

My acoustic is named for how it was funded. "TR" -- tax return.

Ahh! Not my nail again!

Just got my pointer nail just the right length after a break and it is gone again. It is frustraiting. I have been finger picking a lot lately and love the sound of nails on strings - a nice bell like tone. The sound of a nail less finger is not so nice. It makes a dull sound. Has anyone ever...

a bit embarassed but I need help

One other thing you may want to look at is the body style. I am a smaller sized woman. My acoustic is a orchestra model cut away. It is very comfortable to hold and play due to its smaller dimentions. My husband's acoustic is a big Martin that I have trouble playing comfortably due to the width of t...

coffee

Can someone recommend a coffee pot that actually makes the coffee really hot! My latest purchase is room temp at best. I'm looking to mod the plate to get more juice to it (2 10 should do the trick, right  ), but I really don't want to burn down the house if I don't have to. My mother-i...

Passing tones

What are passing tones? A friend was playing pentatonic scales and such and mentioned that he was adding passing tones. Didn't think to ask what that meant at the time. Now I am wondering.

locking tuners

Dogbite, I have learned so much in the past year and a half, mostly thanks to Guitarnoise and many supportive guitar playing friends. The tuners seemed to be loose and slipping a bit - not holding tightly. It probably didn't help that I was releasing the lock each time I attempted to tune. Doh! Adju...
