Re: Accoustic Guitars - Observations and questions

Sounds like you got some really good advice and in some case confirmation of what you were doing so there is not much I can add. I did however, go from 12's to 11's on my Taylor 310 and loved the change. On the plus end it is much softer to fret which was important to me since I switch between acous...

Wow, I may finally make David's news letter. 8)

Re: Pick Up Height Changed????

It's as if a spring came lose and it all snapped up towards the strings about 1/3rd of an inch. I think you guessed it. I have seen many springs that acted normal for a long time then suddenly seated themselves and throws the adjustment way out of whack. On a separate note, you would be surprised h...

Re: Yamaha FG-230

I found where the truss rod is and any advise on how to adjust it? If you follow the instructions for adjusting neck relief in the page that rparker provided to you then you should be good to go. Don't forget, do it in small steps like an 1/8 of a turn at a time and let it settle and check it again...

I went through the same routine with the snow but don't have a "plow guy" so did the drive myself.

Re: Behringer V-Ampire lx112 Recording from Amp to computer mic

If you didn't throw in the "unemployed" word the answer would be pretty easy. "Buy something like a Mobile PreUSB and a couple of XLR cables but that would be in the $150 to $200 range but it is the best solution with that amp." You will never be happy with anything that goes from any connector on t...

I always leaned towards T-Shirts and jeans myself. However, the venue and the music may call for something a little less formal than a T-Shirt  I have a lot of favorite t-shirts most of which I can't post here but one of the top ones was something like "I am the one your mother warned you about...

I have not posted in awhile (became a lurker) but felt compelled to compliment you since it was a really nice job and I am in a blues mood myself right now.
