i had this same problem with a vox amp there were cracks in the pcb board.. took it to an amp tech hesaid the board was 300 bucks if he could get it so he made the repairs to the board that it came with by creating jumpers over the cracks..never had the problem again. he said when the tubes heated u...

ive never seen that but you have to remember that was a low end parlor guitar so they cut corners and costs where ever possible. btw i had some great luck with fixing finish on a marwin from the 40s with stewart mcdonald finish dyes. i evded up doing the whole top of the guitar over and got a perfec...

as said above water based glue like elmers will eventually soften with water . when regluing it id use that ready made hide glue that stewart macdonald sells its better than the regular houshold wood glue and even if some gets on the finish its easily cleaned upwith a damp towel even if it is dried....

well i did that on an old guitar from the 40s that i added two pickups to but didnt want two sets of controls so what i did was add a blend pot instead of a volume pot. works great and does what your looking to do
