I have CAIG contact cleaner said to be very effective for cleaning any kinda of pots. Any other methods that people use for cleaning out scratchy pots?

I have one of these beauties however it's a bit rusty. I was wondering if there's any good methods of getting some rust off some of the screws and bridge knives. I want to stay away from steal wool...but if I have to. Is there any other chemical solution that may work?
