Hello OldStrummer,

I'm in Alexandria. Where are you? Perhaps we can find a porch and jam?

SSG YR 14 WK 37

Hi all, I'm stepping in for David this week. He'll be back soon. This week let's take a pretty well known song from any era, any style and write your own song over it as a skeleton. Try to keep the rhyme scheme the same, including internal rhymes and honor the syllable count. This is a fantastic way...

I'm sure with enough practice you could get a pretty close approximation, but it isn't close to the same. Find a keyboard and try ...

Leave it like that overnight. That might not work, but if it's a cheap guitar it's worth a try. Does the guitar go out of tune ...

Re: What is the process YOU go through when adding music to lyrics?

Sometimes I find another song that has the same mood and appropriate the chords. Then I start noodling around with them and add a line or two at a time.

Welcome Back Vic, we missed you....I think. I mean since I wasn't here at the time.

Glad to hear you are bouncing back and change those strings before you get tetanus.

Re: Help with Key of my voice
