MP3s

Any idea when the MP3s will be back online. They are extremely helpful.

Stretching

I am starting to get frustrated trying to play songs that require you to reach four frets (e.g., 2nd fret on one string, 6th on the next). I just can't seem to reach. I have been working on this fro some time. The really frustrating this is that many great rock and roll songs use this pattern. Does ...

Fretboard Hand Position

I have been having serious cramps in my left hand and my left shoulder has starting aching. I think I am tense when I play and probably use the incorrect technique with my left hand.

What is the proper positiojn of the left hand and arm to reduce stress and help all of this?

Thanks,

Re: Beginners' Discussion #2 - For What It's Worth

I see no one has jumped on the A chord so I will be the fool. I have trouble no matter how I finger it. I can't seem to fit all three fingers in the available space without muting another string or causing a "clunker" (technical term).

Re: Beginners Discussion #3 - Three Marlenas

I love playing this songs but I am getting hand cramps big time. My pinky goes whacko after I get tired. The G chord is giving me fits. Any suggestions on making my pinky behave and getting the cramping to stop? Maybe time will help.

Great song!
