I just picked up a TC Electronic Polytune. It really works, although it still feels weird.
What the heck is the USB port on the back for? It's not even mentioned in the user guide, and it doesn't say anything on the page for the pedal.
Thanks if anyone knows.

Hey folks, I have a LP Studio about 10 yrs old, with I believe the burstbucker pickups. I'm not liking the volume control on the guitar, I would rather have a more gradual taper. The original pot doesn't offer much between on and off and it takes a smooth touch to find a good tone in between, I hope...
Hi, I need some advice, I'm going into the Bighorns for a week or so and was wondering if anyone had a fave battery powered multitrack recorder. Really only need two inputs at a time but need phantom and overdubbing. I haven't tried recording in the wild so don't know what to expect as far as batter...

I would put one of those stupid Joe Strummer teles in a sugarglass display and then after explaining the history of the guitar I would crash into it and freak all the yuppies out.

Thanks guys, MAN I'm racking my brain for my dream guitar I have $2,000 dollars to spend on a good guitar and I don't want to get ripped off and I would like to stay in the high end arena if I can. or mid end arena if I could! Just buy three of these: http://www.myrareguitars.com/classic.html And i...
So record the track and freeze it. That will "print" your recording. Or you could use the insert and bus the track via a send to another record enabled track, though I'm not sure how effective that will be. Ok thanks I think I get it. I either copy the track and render it w/AS or I send to another ...
Actually, if you're using it for an amp sim, just put the amp sim in an insert on the guitar channel. PT doesn't record the plugin. Just the signal coming in. I think I understand, but I want to record the amp sim. Does that make sense? I want to be able to have several guitar tracks when mixing or...
It's very much like your old console. You need aux busses. So create a new track and make it an auxiliary return. From your record enabled channel's send section create an auxiliary send and direct it to the auxiliary return that you created previously. You can make the aux send pre or post fader a...

I haven't been happy with the way my lessons have been going. It seems that everyone wants to learn and teach soloing... everyone wants to be Slash, so that's what the teachers focus on. Well, I'm a rhythm guy and tried to make that clear. So, I'm withdrawing from lessons for a while to focus on ge...
Hi everyone I am very new to this whole PT stuff, using an actual reel-to-reel until last year when it gave up the ghost and I sold it to the Good Guys in St. Paul so they could use the still usable parts for people wanting to fix a Tascam 8 track. I searched a little but I don't have the best searc...

Hi friends, Two new additions to the herd: http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l235/mwothe/MayQueen2.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l235/mwothe/MayQueen1-1.jpg Mike Robinson @ Eastwood said it was a copy of the late 60's Teisco "May Queen". He said he hadn't made them for 4 yrs or longer hence ...
Oh gnease, I forgot to mention I had a Line 6 delay too but it was just too much for me. I've been pretty happy with the DD-6 with a remote switch. I had an old analog delay for a long time but it just crapped out on me one too many times and I went to the DD-6 and never looked back. It's really a g...
Hey I will just as soon as I get around to figuring this out. It's actually a Adrenalinn 1 but with the chips to make it a 3. The guy included all of the chips and literature on each model so it should be some fun learning! I had a dumb accident on Saturday and broke two bones in my foot, so it's ki...
Just bought an adrenalinn III and can't wait for it to get here. Any of y'all ever use one of these? I spend more time playing alone than with shows/practice. I think it will be a blast but I'm sure the novelty will wear off at some point. My only tempo-synched effect (in a real life playing situati...
