GN used to be a place full of life and fire in 2005/06. The time when I was in college and gave mods a real hard time with my posts. :D

Too bad to see it turn into a slow graveyard. I would love to connect again. This community has been very helpful and a lot of fun.

By experience, I have found that if you take your strings above standard (even by half step) one of them is bound to break sooner or later.

So, Don't. Keep it standard. And, IIRC most alternate tunings are below standard tuning notes.
